Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 20th – YRC will once again set up and participate in the Illinois QSO Party – We’ll graciously set up at the Elmhurst Fire Department Training Facility on North Addison, behind the McDonald’s on York Road. We’ll begin at 10 am to be on-the-air by Noon – then club members will be able to work phone, CW & FT8 modes – this is an exercise to get on the air and better learn how to enjoy the art of contesting – Yanko, NX9G, Bill, WD9END, George, KC9UIU and Todd, W9YK will marshal our members so we can make some QSO’s and go thru the paces of contesting, 2019 style. All are welcome, to support, work the bands, or just come on out and enjoy a few hours of amateur radio and your fellow amateurs.
