A 22-Year Proven Format: From Six Weeks to One Weekend

In the fall of 2004, long-time Elmhurst educator and YRC member Chuck, K9PLX (SK), pioneered a shift away from six consecutive Saturdays into a single, concentrated weekend review. That first session saw candidates like Dave Kuffel, Robert Izquierdo, Gene Poulin, and Connie Cain pass their exams and immediately endorse the intensive schedule over drawn-out alternatives.

Today, John, AC9UV, directs our modular 9-part curriculum with club Elmers guiding students through theory, operating practices, and regulations. By pairing independent pre-study with hands-on weekend coaching, YRC consistently maintains a 95% pass rate.
