looks like our club will not be organizing and having Field Day this year – so, other than operating from your own station (which is encouraged by the ARRL, ) and should you want to visit, see and maybe participate with some of the area’s Field Day operations, there is an online tool provided by the ARRL to help you locate such sites

For those planning to operate Field Day later this month from home, the ARRL is again allowing clubs to aggregate member scores. For those interested in feeding into the group York Radio Club score, I’ve pasted a couple of links below for reference. You do not need to send me your totals, but you do need to keep a log and fill out the ARRL’s entry form at the end of the weekend. On this form, enter “York Radio Club” on the line where it asks for “Club or Group Name.” Don’t just enter YRC, since this will result in your totals not being added to the club’s score. Enjoy and be careful when working on antennas or other Field Day preparations. 73, John / K9KE
