The next meeting of the York Radio Club will be Friday, January 20 at 8:00 p.m. in the Community Room (2nd floor) at Community Bank of Elmhurst, 330 W. Butterfield Road, Elmhurst. (VE testing is before the meeting at 7:00 p.m.)
Our January program speaker will be Ed Picha, N9EP. He’s recently retired from Motorola Solutions and has a fascinating presentation on his time spent a few years ago working (both professional and ham radio) during a repeater installation in rural Maine, where conditions were rugged to say the least. He also operates a repeater in the northwest suburbs and is also a member of the Motorola Amateur Radio Club and the Northern Illinois DX Association, where he is club secretary.
